Course Overview

The ATHE Level 3 Award in Introduction to Computer Programming is a 10-credit, Ofqual regulated qualification for learners who want a practical foundation in programming — covering how languages work, OOP, and how to write a basic programme.

All study is online, all assessment is assignment-based, and there are no examinations. Work through the material at your own pace and submit assignments when ready. Qualification Number: 610/4301/1 | Total Credits: 10 | Graded: Pass / Merit / Distinction.

  • Introduction to Computer Programming (10 Credits, Mandatory) — Understand how programming languages are used, basics and depth of programming languages, OOP concepts, and be able to write a basic computer programme.

Entry Requirements
