NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning
Overview
Already working as a teaching assistant or school support professional? This Level 3 Award takes your practice to the next level. You will develop deeper knowledge of assessment, behaviour management, inclusive practice and collaboration with teachers and parents.
Designed to equip experienced practitioners with the theoretical grounding needed to progress into more senior or specialist support roles. Carries UCAS points, opening the door to foundation degrees and university degree progression.

Entry Requirements
• Age 16 or over
• Level 2 qualification in a related area or equivalent experience
• Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths
• Access to a school or educational setting recommended

Course Assessment
Internally assessed and externally moderated portfolio of evidence. No exams. Evidence includes written assignments, reflective practice logs, case studies and professional discussions. Graded Pass, Merit or Distinction. Awarded by NCFE CACHE.
Course Duration
The course can be completed in 3-5 months. Learners set their own pace with no fixed schedule. Course registration remains valid for 12 months.
