ATHE Level 3 Award in Introduction to Cyber Security

Overview
The ATHE Level 3 Award in Introduction to Cyber Security is a 10-credit, Ofqual regulated qualification providing a practical overview of cyber security — covering how to keep yourself, others, and digital systems safe online, and the measures needed to manage and reduce security risks.

Part of ATHE's International Access Programme (IAP) suite of Level 3 awards. You can study this alongside Computer Programming, Computing Mathematics and Digital Technologies from the same suite. Eligible for UCAS points on completion.

Entry Requirements

• Typically aged 16 and above
• 5 or more GCSEs at grades C/4 and above, or related Level 2 subject
• Equivalent international qualifications accepted
• Basic English proficiency required (IELTS 5.5 or equivalent for non-native speakers)
• A smart device (PC/Mac/Tablet) with an internet connection

Course Assessment

All units are internally assessed via assignments and externally verified by ATHE. There are no examinations in this course.

Course Duration

The course can be completed in 4 to 6 weeks. Learners set their own pace. Course material is downloadable and registration remains valid for 12 months.
